Wedding: Natasha and Morgan

It all started late one night when Natasha went out for a drink with her brother and his wife after a long day at work.  As she sipped her cocktail, a guy down the bar yelled her way but she laughed it off.  Not long after a friend introduced her to Morgan, who happened to be the same loud guy down the bar, and he asked her on a date.  All it took was one date and Morgan knew he couldn’t let her go.

Things progressed quickly and one date turned into 10!  And before they knew it there was a ring, and a house, and a wedding!

The sun rose early that morning, shining extra bright on Lexington.  The sky was clear, and a cool breeze rustled through the trees.  The Kentucky countryside was dressed in her best green suit, complete with sunlight sparkling off the occasional pond and thoroughbreds munching lazily on grass alongside beautiful farm fences.

Natasha sipped on a celebratory Mimosa as the talented stylists at Allure worked on her make-up and hair.

The ceremony took place in Morgan’s parent’s back yard, in the heart of horse country.  The set-up was breathtaking, and the light was perfect.  I love it when couples decide to have an outdoor wedding!  The perfect, ever-changing decor of the beautiful creation we live in is an ideal backdrop for a wedding!

Morgan’s sister read a page from one of his favorite childhood storybooks, The Velveteen Rabbit.

The sweet pink bridesmaids dresses were from the adorable Twirl wedding boutique in Lexington.

The reception was held at Keene Run Golf Club and catered by DeRae and Friends Catering.  The food was exquisite!pin thispin this

Natasha’s aunt was the artist behind the cakes.  They were not only beautiful, but SO so tasty!  (You should know that I’m slowly becoming a wedding cake expert.  My job is not done at a wedding until I have tasted the cake).  :)pin thispin thispin thispin thispin thispin this
