The air was thick with anticipation, love and celebration as guests filed in one car at a time then walked toward the group of white wooden chairs sparkling in the sunlight. An acoustic guitar played and the trees whispered as a faint breeze blew through.
Hanna and Reid’s backyard (aka frontyard) summer wedding was a dream. The wedding took place on the bride’s family’s classic Kentucky farm…complete with barns, tractors, trees and green rolling hills. Oh, and heat. The shabby chic decor was breathtaking. And the bride and groom? desperately in love. What more could you ask for?
Reid and Hanna, It was such an honor to be part of your wedding day. You two compliment one another beautifully and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for your life together. We love you so much! -Susannah (and Josue).
Hanna and Reid chose to do a first look before their wedding. Those photographs seem to always be the couple’s favorite images from the day (and mine as well)! If you are working out your own wedding day timeline, I SO highly recommend it! It not only allows for a precious hour of time for you and your beloved to enjoy together on your wedding day, as well as gives you gorgeous images, but it also allows you to spend more time with your guests after your ceremony. Win all around.
I LOVE the barn in the background of these!
and they lived happily ever after.
This beautiful day was documented incredibly well because of the help of my amazing friend and talented photographer Whitney of Whitney Neal Photography who shot as my second photographer. Thank you, Whitney!
