Introducing our newest addition (who has successfully kept me from creating this post for a whole month):
I squeezed this little 15 minute session when she was just 6 days old. We were both still quite tired at that point but this tiny sweet face needed to be captured! I always tell clients that the newborn session should be done in the first 2 weeks of life because they change and grow so quickly, so I had to take my own advice!
She has already brought more joy to our home than I ever could have imagined. I look at her tiny fingernails and delicate eyelashes and I’m breathlessly in awe of her Creator. Life is such a miracle.
I keep coming back to Psalm 139 that says:
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
We are so in love and can’t imagine life without this little princess (long nights and all). As I head back to work this week I’m torn between wanting to stay in bed and snuggle with E and feeling so ready to get out of the house and back to my wonderful clients! I’m extra thankful for a hubby who can work from home sometimes, and for all the incredible support from friends and family. We feel so loved!
